Launched in mid-September 2026 by the Ningbo Library together with ten district and county libraries, the Ningbo Genealogy Database debuts with 325 genealogies from Ningbo and its vicinity covering 102 surnames, offering full-text search, pedigree-tree lookup and multi-dimensional filtering — a digital gateway for people of Ningbo origin to trace their roots.
