On 18 July, a cross-strait genealogy exchange event was held at the Zhuzi Academy in Tong'an, Xiamen, launching the Cross-Strait Genealogy Big-Data Cultural Project — the first of its kind — signing the Cross-Strait Genealogy Culture Alliance, and releasing 44 newly compiled genealogical volumes covering five surnames and nine editions.
