About Membership

The East Asian Genetic Genealogy Association welcomes individuals and institutions interested in genetic genealogy research and application. Our members come from diverse backgrounds including scientific research, academic education, and cultural heritage. Joining us, you'll be part of a professional community dedicated to advancing knowledge and applications in genetic genealogy.

Membership Eligibility

• Individual members: Must have an academic background or research interest in relevant fields.
• Student members: Must provide proof of enrollment and research interest in related fields.
• Institutional members: Applicable to academic institutions, research centers, and other non-commercial organizations.

Rights and Responsibilities

Members have the right to participate in association activities, enjoy resources and services provided by the association, and partake in its management and decision-making. Members must abide by the association's charter, actively participate in activities, and pay dues on time.

Membership Refunds

The association does not accept requests for membership fee refunds. In special cases, such as dissolution of the association, remaining funds will be handled according to the charter's provisions.

Membership Categories and Dues

• Individual membership: Annual fee of 100/year, 1000 for lifetime.
• Student membership: Annual fee of 50/year, valid proof of enrollment required.
• Institutional membership: 50,000/year, applicable to academic and non-commercial organizations.

Application Process

1. Register and fill out the membership form on the official website of the East Asian Genetic Genealogy Association.
2. Select the appropriate membership category.
3. Complete and submit the online application form.
4. Method of paying membership fees: Not yet available.
5. Wait for review. We will complete the review within 14 working days of receiving the application.
6. Once approved, you will officially become a member and enjoy membership benefits.
