About the Association

The East Asian Genetic Genealogy Association (EAGGA) is an international academic institution dedicated to exploring the distribution and cultural history of ethnic groups in East Asia through genetic research. Utilizing advanced DNA analysis techniques, EAGGA aims to scientifically reconstruct the genealogies of East Asian ethnic groups, integrating these findings with traditional genealogical records to uncover the complex narratives of migration, cultural exchange, and historical development.

Core Objectives

EAGGA integrates findings from genetics, history, anthropology, and other disciplines to offer new perspectives on the population dynamics and cultural transformations of East Asia through the ages. Beyond academic research, the association actively promotes clan activities, fosters international academic exchange and cooperation, and enhances mutual understanding and respect among diverse ethnic groups. Additionally, EAGGA is committed to public education, disseminating knowledge on genetic genealogy through conferences, publications, and online resources, helping more people understand their genetic heritage and cultural roots.

Looking to the Future

As EAGGA delves deeper into East Asian genetic genealogy, it aspires to be a leading authority in the field. Research projects not only reveal crucial genetic markers linked to ancient civilizations but also provide new insights for interpreting historical documents. Collaborating closely with global researchers, EAGGA seeks to foster a new paradigm of interdisciplinary research, making significant contributions to our understanding of human history and cultural heritage.

As a bridge between the past and future, science and culture, EAGGA continuously explores the unknown territories of human history, aiming to discuss the common origins and diversity of humanity through scientific methods. Its research outcomes build a solid platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding across East Asia and the world.

EAGGA is dedicated to building a more harmonious global society, strengthening our collective responsibility and mission through scientific research and cultural exchange. We believe that through collaborative efforts, we can gain a deeper understanding of humanity's common origins, contributing to the promotion of world peace and cooperation.
